We know it's been a while since you've heard from us, we've been busy in the soap factory mixing up new soap recipes. And in celebration of our new reciepes we're having a gigantic sale - and we're sure you'll agree it's gigantic when we tell you about our 30% off "FREE TO BE YOU AND ME WITHOUT HST SALE." That's right, 30% off all in-stock items while quantities last, or before the HST comes into effect (July 1st 2010) - which ever comes first. We're only going to do this sale until stock shelves are empty. As a side note, we realize that HST is not 30% but lets be honest here you're awesome and worth a little extra treat.

For those of you who are out of town, we have a small quantity of limited edition soaps that do not appear on our Facebook fan page (we're not hiding them from you, we promise). We made them for our local fans who knocked on our door, called us, sent us emails (or personal hand written letters- thanks for the card Sherri) or saw us down town and made personal requests for soap bars they wanted.
They have fun names and promise a wonderful world pampering for your body.
Shea & Glycerine Soap Limited Edition
Midnight Express: This soap zips in and takes you on a whirlwind ride late at night when most people are sleeping because it likes to party. It has a bright, warm smell of fresh-made Italian anise cookies; you know the ones, they have a sweet melted icing sugar top, buttery inside, best with a hot cup of espresso. Very cosmopolitan of you, your Nona Maria is proud of you.
Gett'in Figgy with It: Sugar, figs, spice and everything nice. A deep smell of class with soft under-tones of yum. A customer of ours once told us that she loved this soap because it reminder her of a rich luxurious Tuscan vacation. The kind that you have in the back yard of an Italian vineyard. If you could consider a vineyard a "back yard."
Lil blue berry: We call this Lil blue berry because to make it BIG blue berry would be a tragedy to your senses. It is packed full of northern smelling blue berries. Sweet, earthy, blue, goodness that makes you dream of blueberry tarts, blueberry pies with vanilla ice cream, blue berry milkshakes, frozen blue berries with whip cream, blue berry pancakes and a nice tall cold glass of blue juice. See, anything more then Lil blue berry would make your head explode and we do not want that, OH no we do not.
Naked 2: This is pure, natural, free-from-everything, glycerine soap that we added shea squares to for extra added moisture. We love you that much to make sure all of your bathing needs are accounted for.
Sweet Home: Warm, snuggle, calm *sigh*. This soap is a combination of all things great that make you want to stay inside and make a nest with your family. We mixed vanilla (so great) & patchouli (yum) and a secret scent to create a rich musky-sweet, spicy scent that will make wonder why you don't just buy everything you need on the internet and never leave home.
Oat Couture: This is not your neighbours "fashion file" bar of soap, but let us tell you, we did everything in our power to make this the most luxurious, silky, skin loving bar of oat meal soap you have ever used. It will make you feel rich, empowered, and humbled by its greatness. Not only are oats a natural inflammatory, keeping skin plump and youthful as the skin ages, but it will also aid in helping those little pimples that pop up from time to time. It has a natural and gentle exfoliating quality that sloughs away dry skin while moisturizing and keeping skin radiant, luminescent, glowing, beaming... almost angelic.*wink* But listen, we can't promise it will keep you out of trouble.
Moroccan my Heart Out: From the epitomes of Rome and Egypt (we're tres worldly) comes this pièce de résistance. Would you believe us if we told you that the main ingredient in this soap bar is Rhassoul clay and it is very high in trace minerals such as silica, magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium and sodium, making it truly one of the finest treasures for pampering your skin (who doesn't love treating their skin to a gift of pure mineral-birthed-from-the-earth joy). And it doesn't stop there, because of it's high mineral content, astringent properties, and absorption properties, Rhassoul clay is a wonderful and effective clay for cleansing, detoxification, and for general skin care treatments. Rhassoul clay has been shown to be effective on skin elasticity, clogged pores, removes dead skin layers, removes surface oil from skin, improves skin clarity and appearance, and reduces flakiness and dryness of both the scalp and skin.
